There are thousands of network marketers in the same position as you. They join a company that has an upline that is what is called a heavy –hitter and you are told to duplicate what they do. It sounds simple but as I am sure you have found out it is NOT!
The heavy hitters know that the majority of the people cannot duplicate what they do; they know that most people will never recruit anyone into their business. The average person is stated as recruiting about 2.7 people in their network marketing career period and the odds are not great that you will be one of the people who will recruit more. It is possible but not likely.
We eagerly do what our upline tells us to do, stay excited, go make that list, talk to everything that is breathing, have home parties and just say what they say and maybe if we are lucky we may sign up 1 of the 2.7 people into our business. We repeat this cycle until we get tired and quit.
It gets really difficult to stay excited when you are not signing people up, it gets even harder when you run out of people to add to your list and it just makes you mad when you have home parties and no one shows up. Even saying what they say can make you really uncomfortable especially if you don’t have the results that they have.
The only way to even attempt to have any network marketing success is to have a marketing system in place. If you do not know what that is, it is time to find out. Now is the time to find out what can be used to help you duplicate your uplines success and to stop struggling.
Network marketing is a people business and the more you help people reach the success that they are looking for the more success you will have. You will not get rich overnight but with learning how to help the masses duplicatible with success and positive results is what matters.

Until you have a proven system in place, one that will help you to build your business, AND one that can be easily duplicated by your new members, unfortunately…people will inevitably struggle.

Lori, you nailed it, I started having chills go down my back thinking of all the parking lots and windshields that I left fliers on and walking through Target trying to prospect and “pretend” shop so that I wouldn’t get kicked out….brrrrr….lol… Great post
