Are You Investing In Yourself?

by Lori on January 10, 2011

Are You Investing In Yourself? No, have you really taken the time to consider this question? Have you taken the time to ask yourself what is it that you really want out of life both personally and professionally?

Chances are you have not! So why not start today by asking that crucial question and then really taking some time to sit down and ponder what you really and truly want.

Think about your goals and your vision not just for each month or for the year but for the next 3-5 years. Figure out what can you do to invest in yourself to help other people. WOW!

You can start by reading a book each day, by attending a seminar each month, and buying products and services that will enhance your business.

It may cost you some money to do these things but you cannot put a price tag on yourself? You should always stay green and growing, learning from people who have the success that you want and that can show you how to get it.

One of the best things that I did was to join a master mind group called The Million Mind March, there, people are like-minded and you learn how to be 10 feet tall and bullet proof! I know it sounds crazy to some people but to me, I was attracted to it because I am always investing in myself and I know what that means.

What I have always known about myself, is  that I am great and that I can do and have and be what I want. That is just a small portion of what is  practiced and learned in the group and because I am uncommon, I have an uncommon mentor and  I surround myself with uncommon people and it is truly amazing. I am now standing up and out!!!! Why would you choose to BE common?

So just think about standing out away from the crowd and becoming uncommon, invest in being the best YOU that you can be, find people who share your visions and that are willing to help you so in turn you can help other people.  You will soon discover the person you were born to be!

If you want to be apart of a mastermind group to help you learn how to invest more into yourself, then go check out The Million Mind March you will be glad you did!

You can put a pricetag on almost everything. Investing in yourself I would consider priceless. A lot of people try to avoid that important step and I guess it shows in the end result.

    thanks for the great post,

Lori, you are so right! Personal development is absolutely vital. I joined a mastermind group about a year and a half ago, and our conference calls on Wednesdays are the highlight of my week! It’s done so much to help me clarify my real desires and goals, as well as getting through some rough times in my personal life.

Yes there is hope if you really want it to work. You just have to figure out what you really want to do, do your research on it. Learn how to market your business the right way and no that in order to be a success there are no short cuts but hard work, persistence and determination. Remember your mind is the most valuable thing you possess so invest in it.

I just graduated from college, I have about $3,000 that I could use to invest. I’ve never done any investing. Can anybody please tell how I could invest so that I can generate a nice amount of money without taking too much risk? which company should I use? are mutual funds the best way to start? thanks

Great you are ready to invest, my best advice to you is to do some research online and find out what is going to be the best avenue for you to pursue, only you can decide that with what your goals are.
